  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup croissant crumbs
  • ½ cup sliced almonds
  • ¼ cup almond flour (optional)
  • ½ cup powdered sugar (for glaze)
  • 2 tbsp almond milk (or regular milk, for glaze)
  • ½ tsp almond extract (for glaze)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease an 8×8-inch baking pan.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In a large bowl, mix melted butter and brown sugar until smooth. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in vanilla extract.
  4. Gently fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined.
  5. Fold in croissant crumbs and sliced almonds.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly.
  7. Bake for 25–30 minutes or until golden brown and a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
