  • 1/2 cup eggnog
  • 1 cup powdered sugar (for glaze)
  • 2 tablespoons eggnog (for glaze)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, nutmeg, and salt.
  2. In a separate bowl, beat softened butter and sugar until fluffy.
  3. Mix in egg yolks, vanilla extract, and eggnog until smooth.
  4. Gradually combine dry ingredients with wet ingredients to form dough.
  5. Chill the dough for 30 minutes in the refrigerator.
  6. Preheat your oven to 350°F (177°C) while dough chills.
  7. Scoop tablespoon-sized balls of dough onto a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  8. Bake for 10–12 minutes until edges are set but centers remain soft.
  9. Cool on the sheet for five minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
  10. For glaze, mix powdered sugar with two tablespoons of eggnog until smooth and drizzle over cooled cookies.
