  • 1 (14 oz) can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 1/4 cup cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 6 fresh strawberries, halved

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Pâte Sucrée dough and cut into 12 portions, pressing them into tartlet pans.
  2. Freeze the shells for 15 to 30 minutes to maintain shape while baking.
  3. Preheat your oven to 375°F and bake the tartlet shells for 10-15 minutes until golden.
  4. Cook chopped strawberries with sugar to create a homemade jam, simmering until thickened.
  5. Make the pastry cream by combining sweetened condensed milk, whole milk, and heavy cream; temper egg yolks and cornstarch before thickening on the stove.
  6. Assemble by layering strawberry jam in each cooled tart shell, followed by piping in the pastry cream.
  7. Garnish with halved fresh strawberries before serving.
