  • 3 cups elbow macaroni
  • 3½ cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon salt (adjust to taste)
  • 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • ½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese

Instructions

  2. In the same pot, sauté minced garlic for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  3. Add elbow macaroni, chicken broth, whole milk, smoked paprika, black pepper, and salt. Bring to a gentle boil.
  4. Reduce heat to medium-low, cover, and simmer for about 8-10 minutes until pasta is tender and most liquid is absorbed.

  6. Mix in the browned turkey sausage and heat through for another minute or two.
  7. Serve with optional garnishes like fresh parsley or green onions.
