  • Orange Coloring Gel for desired shade of orange (Optional)

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (for frosting)
  • 1 teaspoon orange extract (for frosting)
  • ½ teaspoon salt (for frosting)
  • 7 cups Powdered Sugar (for frosting)
  • Orange Coloring Gel (Optional, for frosting)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (163°C) and prepare three 8-inch round cake pans by greasing and lining them with parchment paper.
  2. In one bowl, whisk together cake flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, mix milk, vegetable oil, concentrated orange juice, and orange extract.
  4. In a mixer bowl, beat softened butter and cream cheese until smooth. Gradually add sugar until light and fluffy.
  5. Add eggs one at a time while mixing until fully incorporated.
  6. Alternate adding the dry ingredient mixture and wet mixture into the creamed mixture until just combined.
