  • 1 large egg
  • 8 ounces unsalted butter (melted)
  • 1 1/2 cups pumpkin puree
  • 3 large eggs
  • 8 ounces cream cheese (softened)
  • 1 stick unsalted butter (melted)
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup dark brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F and prepare a springform or round cake pan by lining it with parchment paper and spraying it lightly with cooking spray.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the yellow cake mix, melted butter, and one egg, then mix until smooth.
  3. Press the mixture evenly into the bottom of the prepared pan to form the cake base.
