  • 1/2 cup softened butter
  • 2 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • 2/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 2/3 cup packed light brown sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 3 cups self-rising flour
  • 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 4 small ripe bananas (mashed, about 1 1/2 cups)
  • 1 1/22 cups chopped chocolate candy

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare two loaf pans.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, cream together the peanut butter, butter, and vanilla until fluffy.
  3. Gradually mix in the granulated and brown sugars until well combined.
  4. Add eggs one at a time, ensuring each is incorporated before the next.
  5. Gradually mix in the flour and yogurt alternately, starting and ending with flour.
  6. Gently fold in the mashed bananas and chopped chocolate candy until evenly distributed.
  7. Divide batter between prepared loaf pans and bake for approximately 35 minutes, covering with foil if browning too quickly.
  8. Continue baking for an additional 15-20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  9. Cool in pans for about 15 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
