  • 1/4 cup crumbled blue cheese (or Gorgonzola)
  • 1/4 cup toasted walnuts (chopped)
  • 2 tablespoons honey (plus more for drizzling)
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon (optional)
  • Fresh thyme (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Wash and cut pears in half lengthwise; scoop out seeds while keeping skins on.
  3. Combine melted butter, honey, lemon juice, and optional cinnamon in a small bowl.
  4. Place pear halves cut-side-up on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper; brush generously with honey-butter mixture.
  5. Roast in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes until tender and golden.
