  • 5 cups Rice Krispie cereal
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 10 ounces caramels or caramel bites
  • 1 (14-ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
  • 5 tablespoons butter (for caramel)
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 6 ounces milk chocolate chips
  • Sea salt (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Butter a 9×13-inch baking dish to prevent sticking.
  2. In a large saucepan over medium heat, melt 5 tablespoons of butter. Add vegan marshmallows and stir until smooth. Remove from heat; mix in vanilla.
  3. In another saucepan, combine sweetened condensed milk, 5 tablespoons butter, and caramels. Stir until melted into a creamy sauce.
  4. Pour the caramel mixture over the prepared Rice Krispie base and sprinkle sea salt on top.
  5. Heat heavy cream until bubbling; pour over milk chocolate chips and stir until melted. Drizzle over caramel layer and finish with another sprinkle of sea salt.
  6. Allow to cool before slicing into squares.
