  • 6 medium-small Yukon gold potatoes, peeled, thinly sliced

  • 1/2 teaspoon white pepper
  • 4 cups thinly sliced onions
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil for sautéing
  • 3/4 cup grated Gruyere cheese, divided
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon of butter
  • 1/3 cup chicken, beef, or vegetable stock
  • 1 teaspoon finely minced fresh rosemary

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F.
  2. In a sauté pan, heat olive oil over medium-high heat and caramelize the onions until golden brown (about 15-20 minutes).
