  • 2 cups sharp cheddar cheese, freshly grated
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 medium onion, finely diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • smoked paprika

  2. Layer Ingredients: In the slow cooker, place half of the sliced potatoes at the bottom. Add half of the diced onion and minced garlic, followed by half of the seared steak. Repeat layers with remaining ingredients.
  3. Pour Creamy Mixture: Evenly pour beef broth and heavy cream over the layered ingredients.
  4. Top with Cheese: Generously sprinkle freshly grated cheddar cheese on top.
  5. Slow Cook to Perfection: Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours until potatoes are tender.
