  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs (room temperature)
  • 1 cup butterscotch chips
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Prepare the brown butter by melting it in a pan until golden brown, then cool.
  2. In a bowl, sift together flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.
  3. Beat the cooled brown butter with both sugars until creamy; add eggs and vanilla.
  4. Gradually mix in dry ingredients and fold in butterscotch and chocolate chips.
  5. Chill dough for about 10 minutes while preheating the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  6. Scoop dough onto parchment-lined sheets and bake for 13-15 minutes until edges are golden.
