Method
Marinate the Beef
- In a bowl, combine the sliced flank steak, soy sauce, cornstarch, vegetable oil, and sesame oil. Mix well and let it marinate for at least 10 minutes.
Prepare the Sauce
- In a small bowl, mix together soy sauce, oyster sauce, water, and sugar. Set aside.
Stir-Fry
- Heat a wok over high heat and add a tablespoon of vegetable oil. Add the marinated beef and stir-fry for about 2-3 minutes until browned. Remove and set aside.
- In the same wok, add another tablespoon of oil, then add garlic and ginger. Stir-fry for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add the broccoli florets and stir-fry for about 3-4 minutes until tender-crisp.
- Return the beef to the wok, pour in the sauce, and stir everything together. Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes until heated through.
Serve
- Serve hot over steamed rice or noodles.
