Ingredients
  

  • 1 package refrigerated pizza dough 16.5 oz
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar for icing
  • 1-2 tablespoons milk for icing
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract for icing

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and prepare a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  2. Open the package of refrigerated pizza dough and roll it out on a lightly floured surface into a rectangle about 1/4-inch thick.
  3. In a small bowl, combine the granulated sugar and ground cinnamon.
  4. Pour the melted butter over the rolled-out dough, brushing it to cover the entire surface evenly.
  5. Generously sprinkle the cinnamon sugar mixture over the butter-coated dough.
  6. Cut the dough into strips about 1-inch wide, twist each strip a few times, and form it into a knot shape.
  7. Place the knots in the preheated oven and bake for about 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
