Method
Cook the Pasta
- In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add fettuccine and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
Prepare the Salmon
- In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Season salmon fillets with salt and pepper. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side until cooked through. Remove from skillet and flake into pieces.
Make the Cream Sauce
- In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute. Pour in chicken broth and bring to a simmer. Stir in heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, dried basil, salt, and pepper. Cook for 3-4 minutes until slightly thickened.
Combine and Serve
- Add the cooked pasta and flaked salmon to the cream sauce. Toss to combine and heat through for 1-2 minutes. Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley.
