Method
Prepare Chicken
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- Place chicken breasts between two sheets of plastic wrap and pound them to an even thickness using a meat mallet.
Prepare Coating
- In a mixing bowl, combine Panko breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, dried Italian herbs, salt, and black pepper.
- In another bowl, whisk together eggs and water to create the egg wash.
Coat Chicken
- Dip each chicken breast into the egg wash, allowing excess to drip off.
- Then coat the chicken in the breadcrumb mixture, pressing gently to adhere.
Air Fry Chicken
- Spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray.
- Place the coated chicken breasts in the basket in a single layer, making sure they do not touch.
- Air fry for 10 minutes, then flip the chicken and air fry for an additional 10 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through.
Serve
- Remove the chicken from the air fryer and let it rest for a few minutes before serving.
- Serve with your favorite dipping sauce or side salad.
