Easy Chocolate Chip Banana Bread

Ingredients
  

  • 4 overripe bananas
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar packed
  • 2 large eggs room temperature
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups all purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup semi sweet chocolate chips

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F and grease your loaf pan.
  2. Mash the overripe bananas until smooth and set aside.
  3. Cream together softened butter and both sugars for about 2 to 3 minutes until fluffy.
  4. Add in the eggs, mashed banana, and vanilla extract into the creamed mixture and beat well.
  5. Sift the flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt into the wet mixture and fold until just combined.
  6. Gently fold in three-fourths of the chocolate chips and transfer the batter to the prepared loaf pan.
  7. Bake for about 50 to 60 minutes until set, then cool for at least 20 minutes before slicing.
