Ingredients
  

Protein
  • 1 lb ground pork can substitute with ground chicken or turkey
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce or tamari for gluten-free
Vegetables
  • 4 cups shredded cabbage green or purple cabbage
  • 1 cup shredded carrots optional for added color
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 inch ginger fresh, grated
Seasoning
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil for cooking
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar for tanginess
  • 1 tbsp green onions sliced, for garnish
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds for garnish

Method
 

Cook the Protein
  1. In a large skillet, heat sesame oil over medium heat. Add ground pork and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
  2. Add minced garlic and grated ginger, stirring for an additional minute until fragrant.
Add Vegetables
  1. Stir in shredded cabbage and carrots, cooking until the cabbage is wilted, about 5-7 minutes.
  2. Pour in soy sauce and rice vinegar, mixing well to combine all ingredients.
Serve
  1. Remove from heat and garnish with sliced green onions and sesame seeds before serving.
