Frozen Banana Snickers

A healthy, chocolatey treat made with bananas, peanut butter, and dark chocolate.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 medium bananas ripe
  • 4 tbsp peanut butter
  • 4 to 5 tbsp dark chocolate melted
  • ¼ tsp coconut oil
  • 3 tbsp chopped peanuts
  • to taste sea salt

Method
 

  1. Peel the bananas and cut them in half lengthwise, then divide each half into two parts to get eight banana slices. Place them on a parchment paper-covered baking sheet.
  2. Spread peanut butter generously over each banana slice, covering them completely.
  3. Sprinkle chopped peanuts and a light sprinkle of sea salt over each peanut butter layer.
  4. In a microwave-safe bowl, combine dark chocolate and coconut oil. Heat in 30-second intervals, stirring until melted and smooth.
  5. Drizzle the melted chocolate over each banana slice generously.
  6. Place the baking sheet in the freezer and allow to freeze for at least one hour or until the chocolate has hardened.
  7. Remove from the baking sheet and serve immediately or store for later enjoyment.
