Ingredients
  

  • 3 cups rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup nuts of choice
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 3/4 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 1/4 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1/4 cup coconut oil
  • 8 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 2 tablespoons unsulphured molasses
  • 1 splash vanilla extract

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (165°C) and prepare a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine rolled oats, nuts, cinnamon, ginger, cloves, and sea salt.
  3. In a separate bowl, melt coconut oil and mix in maple syrup, molasses, and vanilla extract.
  4. Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and stir until evenly coated.
  5. Transfer the mixture to the baking sheet, pressing it down slightly to form clusters.
  6. Bake for about 20 minutes, keeping an eye on it to avoid burning.
  7. Allow to cool completely before breaking into pieces and storing in an airtight container.
