Ingredients
  

Crescent Roll Dough
  • 2 cans crescent roll dough 8 oz each
Filling
  • 1 cup sliced pepperoni
  • 1 cup sliced salami
  • 1 cup sliced provolone cheese
  • 1 cup sliced mozzarella cheese
  • 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
Egg Wash
  • 1 large egg beaten
  • 1 tablespoon water

Method
 

Prepare the Filling
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the sliced pepperoni, salami, provolone, mozzarella, and Italian seasoning. Mix well.
  2. Set the filling mixture aside.
Assemble the Sandwich Bake
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Unroll one can of crescent roll dough and lay it in a greased baking dish, pressing the seams together to form a base.
  3. Spread the filling mixture evenly over the dough.
  4. Unroll the second can of crescent roll dough and place it over the filling, sealing the edges.
  5. In a small bowl, whisk together the egg and water to create an egg wash. Brush the mixture over the top of the dough.
Bake
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes or until the top is golden brown.
  2. Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before slicing.
