Prepare your ingredients by washing and chopping broccoli into bite-sized florets. Measure out your ground beef, cheese, and seasoning.
In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the ground beef and break it apart with a spatula. Cook until browned for about 5–7 minutes and drain excess fat.
Stir in broccoli florets, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, and optional red pepper flakes. Cook for another 5–7 minutes until broccoli is tender-crisp.
Lower the heat and add heavy cream and half of the shredded cheddar cheese. Stir until creamy and combined.
Top with remaining cheddar cheese, cover, and let sit on low heat for 2–3 minutes until cheese melts.
