Method
Cook the Pasta
- In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the linguine and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
Cook the Chicken
- In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Season the chicken strips with salt and pepper, then add to the skillet. Cook for 5-7 minutes until golden brown and cooked through. Remove chicken and set aside.
Make the Sauce
- In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant. Pour in chicken broth, lemon juice, and lemon zest. Bring to a simmer.
- Stir in heavy cream and grated parmesan cheese. Cook for another 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
Combine and Serve
- Add the cooked pasta and chicken back to the skillet. Toss to coat in the sauce. Cook for an additional 2 minutes to heat through.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
