Method
 

  1. Melt the butter in a small saucepan over medium heat, stirring gently to avoid browning.
  2. Whisk in the maple syrup until well combined and heated through.
  3. Remove the saucepan from heat to prevent further cooking.
  4. Whisk in the vanilla extract until smooth.
  5. Gradually add powdered sugar until you reach a thick but pourable consistency.
  6. Mix in a pinch of salt until smooth and glossy.
