Meatball & Mashed Potato Bake

A comforting casserole combining savory meatballs with creamy mashed potatoes, topped with melted cheese.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb Frozen or homemade meatballs, cooked
  • 4 cups Mashed potatoes, fresh or leftover
  • 1 cup Brown gravy, homemade or store-bought
  • 1 cup Shredded mozzarella or cheddar cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. Place the cooked meatballs evenly at the bottom of the greased baking dish.
  3. Pour a cup of brown gravy over the meatballs.
  4. Spread the mashed potatoes generously over the meatballs and gravy.
  5. Sprinkle shredded mozzarella or cheddar cheese over the top of the mashed potatoes.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes until the top is golden brown and bubbly.
  7. Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving.
