Ingredients
  

Chicken Patties
  • 1 lb ground chicken
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs preferably whole wheat
  • 1 large egg beaten
  • 1 tbsp olive oil for cooking
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley chopped
  • 1 tbsp fresh oregano chopped
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp cumin
Tzatziki Sauce
  • 1 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1 small cucumber grated and drained
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp fresh dill chopped
  • 1/2 tsp salt

Method
 

Prepare the Chicken Patties
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine ground chicken, breadcrumbs, beaten egg, minced garlic, parsley, oregano, salt, pepper, and cumin. Mix until well combined.
  2. Form the mixture into patties, about 1/2 inch thick.
Cook the Patties
  1. Heat olive oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
  2. Add the patties to the pan and cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through.
Make the Tzatziki Sauce
  1. In a separate bowl, mix Greek yogurt, grated cucumber, minced garlic, lemon juice, dill, and salt until well combined.
Serve
  1. Serve the chicken patties warm with tzatziki sauce on the side.
