No Bake Christmas Peppermint Pie

Ingredients
  

Crust
  • 1 cup graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter melted
Filling
  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream chilled
  • 1 teaspoon peppermint extract
  • 1/2 cup crushed peppermint candies for garnish

Method
 

Prepare the crust
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, granulated sugar, and melted butter. Mix until well combined.
  2. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom and up the sides of a 9-inch pie pan. Refrigerate for 15 minutes to set.
Make the filling
  1. In a separate mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth.
  2. Gradually add powdered sugar and continue to beat until well combined.
  3. In another bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form.
  4. Gently fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture until fully incorporated.
  5. Add peppermint extract and mix gently.
Assemble the pie
  1. Pour the filling into the prepared crust and smooth the top with a spatula.
  2. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or until set.
Garnish and serve
  1. Before serving, sprinkle crushed peppermint candies on top of the pie.
  2. Slice and enjoy your festive no-bake peppermint pie!
