Peppercorn Sauce

Ingredients
  

  • 1 tbsp black peppercorns crushed
  • ¼ cup heavy cream
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 cup beef stock
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard

Method
 

  1. Start by setting a small pan over medium heat. Add the butter and let it melt completely.
  2. Once the butter is melted, stir in the beef stock and scrape any bits off the bottom of the pan.
  3. Pour in the heavy cream and add Dijon mustard. Stir everything together until well combined.
  4. Add your crushed black peppercorns and salt to taste. Stir them in well.
  5. Let your sauce simmer for about 5-10 minutes while stirring often until it thickens.
  6. Pour the sauce directly over your favorite dish or transfer it into a small serving bowl.
