Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup softened butter salted
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 unit egg
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 1/4 cups flour
  • 1 1/2 cups chocolate chips

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 325 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. Cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, granulated sugar, egg, baking soda, salt, and vanilla extract until light and fluffy.
  3. Gently add in the flour to your creamed mixture and stir until just combined.
  4. Fold in the chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
  5. Drop heaping portions of dough onto ungreased or parchment-lined cookie sheets.
  6. Bake for about 9 to 11 minutes until edges are golden brown and centers are soft.
  7. Let cookies cool on the sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a cooling rack.
