Ingredients
  

Dry Ingredients
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup protein powder whey or plant-based
  • 1/4 cup flaxseed meal optional for added fiber
  • 1/4 cup chocolate chips optional
Wet Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter or almond butter
  • 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup milk dairy or non-dairy

Method
 

Prepare the Mixture
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the rolled oats, protein powder, flaxseed meal, and chocolate chips.
  2. In another bowl, mix together the peanut butter, honey, and milk until smooth.
  3. Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and stir until fully combined.
Shape and Chill
  1. Line a baking dish with parchment paper.
  2. Transfer the mixture into the dish and press it down firmly into an even layer.
  3. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour to set.
Cut and Serve
  1. Once set, remove from the refrigerator and cut into bars.
  2. Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a week.
