Ingredients
  

Base Ingredients
  • 1 cup almond flour
  • 1/2 cup protein powder vanilla or chocolate flavor
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup or honey
  • 1/4 cup peanut butter or almond butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Mix-ins
  • 1/4 cup dark chocolate chips or chocolate chunks
  • 1/4 cup chopped nuts optional

Method
 

Prepare the Dough
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the almond flour and protein powder.
  2. Add the maple syrup, peanut butter, and vanilla extract to the dry ingredients.
  3. Mix until a dough forms, using a spatula to combine thoroughly.
  4. Fold in the dark chocolate chips and chopped nuts if using.
Serve
  1. Scoop the cookie dough into small portions and serve immediately.
  2. Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week.
