  • 1 lb raw shrimp, peeled, deveined, and finely chopped
  • 1/2 lb lump crab meat
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 each egg, beaten
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1 each lemon wedges, for serving

Method

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the chopped shrimp, crab meat, minced garlic, breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, beaten egg, chopped parsley, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.
  2. Shape the mixture into small balls about 1.5 inches in diameter.
  3. In a large skillet over medium heat, pour in the olive oil and heat it properly.
  4. Carefully place the shaped shrimp and crab balls into the skillet without overcrowding. Cook for about 3–4 minutes per side until golden brown.
  5. Remove the bombs from the skillet and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.
