Prepare the Burger Patties
- In a mixing bowl, combine ground turkey, cumin, paprika, chili powder, minced garlic, chopped jalapeño, salt, and black pepper. Mix until just combined.
- Form the mixture into 4 equal patties.
Cook the Patties
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
- Cook the patties for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
Make the Chipotle Mayo
- In a small bowl, mix together mayonnaise, chipotle in adobo, lime juice, and minced garlic until well combined.
Assemble the Burgers
- Spread chipotle mayo on the bottom half of each toasted bun.
- Place a turkey patty on each bun, top with cheese if using, and add lettuce, tomato, and avocado slices.
- Cover with the top half of the bun and serve immediately.
